Passion Populations.

While I work with many different populations on a number of different presenting concerns, you will find my passion populations here.

  • Stigma, structural inequities, and the oppressive guise of white supremacy are all barriers that have kept Black folx out of accessing the mental health care they need. At BRC Therapy, we center the needs of Black folx and seek to create restorative experiences through collaborative conversation.

  • Interracial/Multiracial relationships provide opportunities for each partner to learn from the unique perspective(s) they bring to the table based on their own life experience. These couples may also face challenges with navigating cultural differences, addressing impacts of privilege/oppression within their relationship, and building a common language together.

  • For many queer folx, the world can feel unwelcome and inaccessible due to the strains of heteronormativity, the gender binary, and discrimination based practices. At BRC Therapy, we examine the impact of these systems and strive to empower individuals to live an authentic life free of guilt and shame.

  • Neurodivergence refers to anyone who’s mind or functioning diverges from dominant societal norms, standards, and expectations. Many ND folx struggle to exist in a world that assumes neurotypicality and views anything outside of this as deficient. At BRC Therapy, we embrace and uplift ND folx by depathologizing their brain differences, validating and normalizing the fatigue that comes along with living in a world that wasn’t built for them, as well collaboratively considering accommodations geared towards improving their quality of life.
